Founded by Vartan and Lee, ASONY began in San Jose in 2006 with the mission to recreate the authentic New York pizza experience. In 2017, the owners transitioned the business into a worker-owned cooperative, making it Silicon Valley’s first brick-and-mortar cooperative. This shift aimed to support employees, the community, and uphold high standards of food and service.

ASONY’s menu features a variety of specialty pizzas, including:

The City (Combo): Pepperoni, Italian sausage, fresh mushrooms, sliced red onions, bell peppers, black olives, and fresh chopped garlic.

Buffalo Chicken: ASONY garlic oil base, seasoned chicken breast, sliced red onions, Frank’s Red Hot, fresh basil, and fresh parmesan.

Rockefeller Center (All Meat): Pepperoni, Italian sausage, meatballs, salami, and fresh chopped garlic.
Additionally, they offer build-your-own pies, calzones, and a selection of vegan and vegetarian options. A lunch special is available, offering a free soda with the purchase of two slices or a 10” personal pie during specific hours.
