Debbie’s culinary journey began in 1993 with the opening of Debbie Ann’s Kitchen & Pie Shoppe in Vista. After selling that venture, she established Debbie’s Restaurant & Pie Shoppe in San Marcos in 1997. Drawing inspiration from her childhood experiences helping her mother in the kitchen, Debbie crafted a menu that pays homage to classic American comfort food. Many of the sandwiches and dishes are reminiscent of those she prepared at her family’s deli, including the popular Debbie Club sandwich .
