how it all started.
Opened in March 2022 after a major hotel renovation, Carcara (named for the Cara Cara orange) was designed by Celano Design Studio to honor Arizona’s “five C’s”—cattle, citrus, copper, cotton, and climate. The aesthetic brings in clay, cotton fabrics, a canopy tree centerpiece, and citrus groves, blending nostalgia with contemporary flair . Executive Chef Chaz Frankenfield leads the kitchen, focusing on seasonal, locally sourced, Sonoran-inspired cuisine .

What should you Try?
