Great Eats Award Winner

Located in downtown Batavia, Illinois, Fernando’s Street Kitchen is a local gem specializing in authentic Mexican street food. Now, with a permanent dine-in location at 12 S. Water Street, Fernando’s continues to delight patrons with its flavorful dishes and warm hospitality.

How it all started.

Fernando’s culinary journey started with El Taco Grande, where he honed his skills in crafting delicious Mexican cuisine. Recognizing a demand for authentic street food, he launched Fernando’s Street Kitchen, initially operating through spontaneous pop-up events and catering services. The success and popularity of these ventures led to the establishment of a brick-and-mortar location in Batavia, allowing Fernando to share his passion for Mexican street food with a broader audience.
