Founded in 2015 by the Front Burner Restaurant Group from Dallas, Ida Claire expanded to San Antonio in October 2019, marking its first location outside Dallas. The 6,800 sq ft transformation of the former El Machito space included a southern garden and twin airstream lounge bars. From the start, 50 % of opening-day proceeds supported the Junior League of San Antonio.
